Machine Operator/Parts Production (2 nd Shift) - Akron, OH - JOB 24-00109 Hourly Rate: $17.00 - $33.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits 2 nd Shift 5:00PM – 3:30AM (Training conducted on 1 st Shift) Our client located in Northern Summit County is seeking a 2 nd Shift Machine Operator- Parts Production.

Key responsibilities: Ensure proper tooling / proper material / proper set up items are available, when required, and are used with maximum efficiency.

Perform inspection on the machine to ensure parts machined match current data and meet tolerance requirements.

Perform Inspection off the machine to verify the part thickness.

Clean and wrap the machined part to prepare for shipment.

Requirements: High School graduate (Technical School graduate is a plus) 2 – 5 years' experience as a production parts machinist OR 1 – 3 years' experience as a machine operator / programmer.

Experience with 5 axis machines Experience with vertical milling NC programming experience Experience running programs.

Experience with program cutter paths Experience performing routine maintenance on machines as required.

Must have good communication skills (written & verbal) Must be able to work 2 nd shift 5:00PM – 3:30AM (Training on 1 st Shift) Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
