The Georgetown Laboratory for Relational Cognition, directed by Adam Green, invites applications for a postdoctoral position focused on NSF- and foundation-funded research using computational and behavioral methods to investigate creativity in educational contexts.

The post-doc will also have the opportunity to contribute to projects aimed at modeling and fostering creative thinking abilities, and that employ neuromodulation (TMS, tES, tFUS) in combination with neuroimaging toward enhancing creativity and executive function.

There will be ample opportunity, dependent on the post-doc’s level of interest, to engage with many other ongoing projects in the lab related to learning in real-world educational contexts, reasoning, and human character strengths and virtues.

Applicants should hold a Ph.D.

or anticipate a Ph.D.

by summer of 2024.

The projected start date for the position summer or fall of 2024, but other starting times are possible.

Favorable consideration will be given to applicants with a strong record of productivity and with experience or substantial interest in the following areas: creativity, computational methods, learning, neuroimaging and/or electrical recording methods, neuromodulation, and advanced statistical data analysis.
