Ensuring that adequate and appropriate internal financial management controls are in place, in compliance with USAID policies and procedures.

She/he make sure that the Activity’s financial management processes and controls meet generally recognized accounting standards.

S/he will oversee and manage all bookkeeping, bank accounts, and cash flow, and manages the project funds for appropriate execution of the activity.

Be responsible for tracking project expenses, overseeing and approving the preparation of monthly financial reports, quarterly accrual projections, while lead the annual budgeting process He/she manages the financial and administrative aspects of all sub-agreements under the activity, as well as managing all financial aspects of the activity Requirements Master’s degree or higher, in Finance, Business Administration,Procurement, or related area; 10 years’ experience in leading finance and operations functions for USAID funded projects Direct experience of more than five years in supervision of finance teams reporting to USAID; Excellent understanding of U.S.

Government financial management instruments, policies, financial and operational procedures and requirements and compliance.

Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills in English.
