Tax Associate (002834)

Oversee preparation of partnership tax allocations using aggregate methodologies; prepare monthly tax compliant trial balances; provide U.S. tax analysis of transactions including wash sales analysis, Section 1256 analysis, holding period analysis (long-term vs. short term), constructive sales (section 1259), straddles (section 1092), original issue discount (OID), market discount, distressed debt issues, treatment of derivatives and unrelated business taxable income (UBTI); work with Reporting and UAT teams to streamline tax reporting processes.

2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation of Billing & Payroll Manager is required

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
