Verisign is currently looking for an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Business System Analyst to enhance our enterprise IAM capabilities. This role is for a strategic thinker with extensive experience in analyzing, designing, and implementing IAM solutions to enhance security, improve operational efficiency, and support compliance across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business system analysis, a deep understanding of IAM technologies and processes, and the ability to manage projects and collaborate effective with partners and stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough analyses to identify and document specific IAM requirements across various business units, ensuring solutions align with both security policies and operational goals

Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of IAM projects, employing agile methodologies to meet deadlines and objectives

Communicate and track progress toward company and departmental goals and initiatives and ensure team responsibilities are communicated

Coordinate with external vendors and partners as needed to ensure successful project outcomes

Define an efficient intake process for new requests, requirements, including but not limited to application onboarding for SSO integration, access provisioning and access re-certifications

Utilize metrics for ongoing assessment of these processes, aiming for continuous improvement in efficiency and customer satisfaction

Facilitate smooth collaboration between IAM and partner teams to deliver successful design and implementation of IAM solutions, including but not limited to Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Multi-Factor Authentication, Single-Sign-On (SSO), focusing on enhancing security and user experience

Provide support for IAM-related issues, collaborating with engineers and architects to resolve complex issues and improve user satisfaction

Coordinate regular access reviews to ensure compliance with Security policies and audit requirements

Proactively seek and recommend technologies or processes that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the IAM program

Leverage prior test automation experience to design automated testing where feasible

Drive automation and innovation where possible to streamline internal or external business processes

Perform fit-gap analysis and develop solutions with business process improvement recommendations

Participate in and contribute to all phases of systems development; including requirements, design, development, client training, data conversion, testing and maintenance to achieve the successful development and implementation of the customer's business systems

Create high quality presentations to put forth challenges and potential solutions to bring about quick resolutions

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology or a related field

7+ years of experience in business systems analysis with a focus on IAM, including experience with leading projects and implementing IAM solutions

2+ years of hands-on, administration experience with enterprise Identity management tools such as SailPoint IIQ, Forge Rock, Oracle Identity Manager, Saviynt, etc.

Proficient in analyzing business processes and translating them into technical requirements

Understanding of IAM principles and technologies (IGA, SSO, MFA, PAM, etc.)

Working experience of Sarbanes Oxley processes and controls, preferably in a high-tech environment

Comfortable working in a complex integrated systems landscape

Responsive to customer needs and highly motivated to improve the skills and capabilities of the organization

This position is based in our Reston, VA office and offers a flexible, hybrid work schedule.

The pay range is $120,500 - $163,100.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is noted above, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience. Verisign offers a discretionary bonus which is based on individual and company performance, and certain roles may be eligible for discretionary stock awards.
