Key Responsibilities

Responsible for analyzing, designing, & implementing unified communications solutions to meet technical & business requirements.

Act as subject matter expert for Unified Communications to support business requirements related to Telephony, Voice & Video Conferencing, Digital Signage.

Design, deploy,& operate state-of-the-art collaboration environments, including best practice voice collaboration in the UCM space.

Employ experience with voice infrastructure including Avaya PBX, Cisco call manager, Telepresence, Jabber, PEXIP MCU, & Lync.

Implement automation to measure UC infrastructure’s reliability, performance, & success.

Employ understanding of network protocols & packet analysis for both troubleshooting.

Pilot emerging technologies to maintain & increase the business’s competitive advantage.

Employ experience in technologies & platforms related to software design & development, programming languages, data integration, data warehousing, data analysis & visualization tools, data storage, network connectivity & virtualization/cloud environments such as writing scripts in automating onboarding & offboarding process, helping with automation of system tasks, developing power BI system utilization & availability reports for leadership.

Responsible for total project scope, budget, completion within budget constraints & scheduled completion date.

Accountable for successful & timely completion of all tasks/projects under direct & matrix control.

Provide technical leadership & mentor staff in planning methods, procedures, standards, & best practices.

Maintain relationships with affiliates, subsidiaries, & vendors in accordance with organizational Values, Vendor Management Office, & Purchasing to further the mission, vision & goals of the organization.

Adhere to corporate standards regarding applicable Corporate & Divisional Policies, including code of conduct, safety, GxP compliance, data security, & software development lifecycle.

Employ understanding of companion infrastructure domains such as O365, storage, server technologies (hardware, network interface cards, operating system optimization), databases & virtualization.

Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a highly related field of study with at least 6 years of experience in the following:

analyzing, designing, and implementing unified communications solutions to meet technical & business requirements utilizing existing infrastructure on Cisco Communications Manager, Avaya PBX & Microsoft Teams Direct routing, Cisco SBC’s & Oracle Acme Packets

voice infrastructure including Avaya PBX, Cisco call manager, Telepresence, Jabber, PEXIP MCU, & Lync;

technologies & platforms related to software design & development, programming languages, data integration, data warehousing, data analysis and visualization tools, data storage, network connectivity and virtualization/cloud environments such as writing scripts in automating the onboarding & offboarding process, helping with automation of system tasks, developing power BI system utilization and availability reports for leadership; and

companion infrastructure domains such as O365, storage, server technologies (hardware, network interface cards, operating system optimization), databases & virtualization.

Salary Range: $157,500 - $173,500 per year.
