Only considering candidates with the following:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Bilingual (fluent in Spanish and English)

Excellent time management and multitasking skills

Professional and positive communication skills

Experience navigating Electronic Medical Records and Outlook

Ability to handle and diffuse patient complaints and disagreements

Responsibilities:

Greet patients and other visitors arriving for appointments

Check patients in upon arrival and out when they leave

Verify insurance benefits via phone call to other providers, insurance companies, etc

Collect copayments and balances

Call PCPs to obtain referrals and/or authorizations if required by new insurance

Obtain, verify, and enter patient info into EMR

Complete end of day closing duties

Assist in cross-training new personnel on front desk duties

Answer phones promptly and courteously
