Job Description

Direct Care Staff - (Morning, Evening, And Overnight Shifts available)

Qualifications:

- Pass State Criminal Background Checks

- High School Diploma or Equivalent

- Current Driver’s License

- Ability to pass First Aid / CPR course, and sponsored trainings.

- Must TB Screening

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Provides direct supervision to clients and maintains daily assigned scheduled activities.

Helps encourage clients to participate in scheduled activities.

- Collaborates and works well with others.

- Implements individual service plans (ISP) teaches skills and coping techniques

- Able to cook and prepare healthy meals.

- Assist clients with personal care needs as required (ex. Toileting, bathing, dressing, ambulating, cleaning bedrooms, etc.)

- Performs daily documentation of supports provided.

- Able to de-escalate clients’ behaviors when needed.

- Participates in agency sponsored trainings to meet job development requirements.

- Presents and maintains positive and professional attitude and demeanor.

- Additional duties as assigned including, filling in at other sites or shifts as needed.Company Description
