Job Description
The Senior Applications Developer is responsible for the day-to-day management and support of various enterprise solutions in close collaboration with IT and Accounting. This individual is the main point of contact for the business around technical issues and support and will partner with our internal customers in ensuring the health and consistent growth of the systems they are responsible for.
We are looking for an energetic, high performing individual with the passion and aptitude to learn new technologies, along with the communication and management skills to work independently and deliver new solutions to the business.
This individual should be organized, accountable and maintain a strong focus on customer service.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Support and develop enterprise applications and platforms such as Elite 3E including Design Gallery, Concur, Intapp suite of products, Billstream, and iTimekeep
Work on application implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
Act as subject matter expert for those systems and provide technical support as needed. Ensure the health and stability of all solutions owned
Under direction of the IT Director, engage with the business as needed in supporting the above
Work with the relevant end users in developing and delivering enhancements and new capabilities. Drive and manage those efforts
Maintain current and accurate architecture and support documentation
Adhere to and participate in the IT Team's Change Management process
Provide regular updates and reporting to the IT Director and Manager of Business Systems
Collaborates in the creation and use of training and activities for applications supported
Provides coaching to IT support staff on trouble shooting and best practices
Advanced knowledge of enterprise applications on premise, in the cloud, and hybrid
Work with product vendors
Participates in after-hours deployments or support, as needed
Other duties as necessary
Proficiencies:
Advanced 3E development
Advanced knowledge of Windows Server including IIS, services, scheduled tasks, logging, and configurations
Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, SQL development/queries, and reporting tools
Intermediate knowledge of system integrations including APIs, web services
Ability to work with project management on plans, tasks, and resource management
Familiarity with security best practices and procedures
Familiarity with related IT departments such as infrastructure, development, and operations
Familiarity with Intapp Integrate
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (strongly preferred) or equivalent work experience
Three years experience working with Thomson Reuters Elite 3E
Five years experience working with and supporting enterprise platforms, preferred
Three years experience working on data analytics and reporting efforts, preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers at all levels
Strong analytical and reasoning abilities
Physical Requirements:
Ability to listen and communicate over Zoom, MS Teams or via phone
Ability to sit at computer for extended periods of time
