We provide plumbing, heating, air-conditioning, ductwork, and sprinkler installations as well as design-built systems, ductwork fabrication, and 24-hour service for our residential, commercial, and industrial clients. With more than 40 years of experience in the mechanical trades, collectively with 20-plus years in management, contracting, and firm ownership, A & B Mechanical brings a wealth of knowledge and skills that a small number of mechanical contractors possess.
Pay
$25.00-$40.00/hour

Responsibilities
Install sheet metal components and systems according to specifications and project requirements.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals to determine proper installation procedures.
Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal ducts, fittings, and other components using hand and power tools.
Collaborate with the project foreman to plan and prioritize work assignments and ensure efficient workflow.
Supervise and guide team members, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
Perform accurate measurements, cuts, and bends to ensure precise fit and alignment of sheet metal components.
Inspect completed work to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to coordinate sheet metal installations with overall project timelines.
Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition, reporting any deficiencies or issues to the project foreman.
Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure project success.

Job requirements
Possession of the following licenses or certifications: D2, SM2, SM1, S1, and S2
Above-average communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and supervisors
Relevant experience in both residential and commercial sheet metal installations
Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check including criminal, driving, and health records
3+ years of Sheet Metal Mechanic experience
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
