LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently sourcing for a Controller opening with a best-in-class Oil & Gas services organization. This role will control one of their business units to minimize risk, reduce completion costs, and deliver optimized results. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded individual who can present well and has solid financial acumen. This is a great opportunity to build out your own team in the Houston office, implement changes and improve processes & work with a group who has a very strong culture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for managing the general accounting function.

Oversees the completion and interpretation of financial statements.

Prepares reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present and expected operations.

Prepares reports for audits of company accounts.

Reports organization’s finances to management, and offers suggestions about resource utilization and underlying budget forecasts.

Perform analysis of manufacturing variances, cost roll up, analysis of standard cost

Directs preparation of annual operating and capital expenditure budgets.

Qualifications

Minimum of 7 seven years related Accounting and Controller experience and training within a manufacturing environment

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business administration or related field

CPA preferred NOT Required

Pay Details: $130,000.00 to $155,000.00 per year
