LHH is currently seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Maintenance Technician to join our team for the 2nd shift for growing manufacturing client located in Indianapolis, IN.

Position Overview: As a 2nd Shift CNC Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our CNC machines. Your primary responsibility will be to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and repair CNC equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Responsibilities:

Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines according to established schedules.

Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with CNC equipment.

Perform repairs and adjustments to CNC machines to restore functionality.

Replace faulty components, such as motors, gears, bearings, and sensors.

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address maintenance-related concerns and optimize machine performance.

Document maintenance activities, including repairs, parts usage, and equipment history.

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in CNC machine repair and maintenance.

Strong knowledge of CNC machine operation and components.

Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Experience with tools and equipment commonly used in CNC maintenance and repair.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Availability to work on the 2nd shift.

Preferred Qualifications:

Technical degree or certification in machining, mechanical engineering, or a related field.

Familiarity with CNC programming and control systems.

Experience with preventive maintenance software or systems.
