Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to our patients. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients on proper medication use, and ensuring compliance with all pharmacy regulations.

Responsibilities:

- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently

- Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness

- Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, and potential drug interactions

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care

- Monitor patient medication therapy for effectiveness and safety

- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations

- Maintain accurate patient records and prescription files

- Participate in pharmacy quality improvement initiatives

Skills:

- Pharmacy experience preferred

- Strong patient service orientation

- Proficient in patient assessment and medication therapy management

- Excellent knowledge of pharmacy practices and procedures

- Competence in medication administration techniques

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Work Environment:

-Independent community pharmacy on Skidaway Island GA

-Well established patient base

-Great team atmosphere

-Well staffed retail pharmacy

-Very experienced staff - most of staff have been part of team >3yrs

-Exceptional work hours - M-F 9am-6pm SAT 9am-3pm Sun -Closed
