Job Purpose / Objective:
Provides project management for the implementation of a new Employee Benefits client management system.
Utilizes both system and insurance industry knowledge to provide ongoing support and maintenance to client services teams
Essential Functions and Primary Duties:
Provide operational and functional support for the new Employee Benefits client management system.
Conduct end-user support and training
Manage and modify application configurations
Manage and modify systematic workflows and business processes
Represent the business in functional support for third-party integrations
Coordinates and tests application upgrades
Monitors key system processes
Develops product expertise and application vendor interaction
Stays up to date on the vendor product roadmap and upcoming enhancement
Maintains relationships with the vendor support organization
Works with vendor and business stakeholders on continuous improvement efforts
Collects business and user requirements
Configures, tests, and implements application changes
Works with corporate IT to ensure the application adheres to IT General Controls and security standards.
Follows formal application change management procedures.
Maintains system, business process, and end-user documentation
Supports the onboarding of acquired business entities (data conversion, user onboarding, etc.)
Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience with Applied EPIC
Experience with Employee Navigator is a plus
Business process expertise (specific to the Insurance Industry)
Demonstrated commitment to learning new technologies
Ability to manage a workload of operational support and project-level work
Experience using project management tools and associated organizational skills
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required
3 years of experience in related field
Achieve professional certifications relative to the area of expertise, must have and preserve required licenses
Must be able to work in a team environment
Proficient in presenting technical information
Demonstrated data analysis ability
Ability to problem-solve moderate to complex issues
Detail-oriented and organized
Effectively communicates at all levels of the organization
The annual salary target for this job in this market is $70,000-$85,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
