What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an entry level Accounts Payable Specialist to support our Finance Team. For this candidate to be successful, they must have an understanding of accounts payable, be highly self-motivated and directed, committed to solving problems efficiently, and interested in being part of an organization committed to continuous growth and improvement. This is a position that must be able to set the standard for integrity and professionalism, while interacting with a diverse team.

What You’ll Do

Work with vendors and employees by phone and email

Research, verify, and enter invoices accurately and timely

Ensure correct account coding

Obtain proper approvals for invoices according to policies

Research and resolve 3 way match invoice exceptions

Credit card reconciliation

Review, verify and match payment documentation

Follow-up on requests received from vendors and operations

Collaborate with team members on various projects

Utilities management

Other tasks and projects as assigned

Protect organizational values through confidentiality and following company policies

The Skills You’ll Need

Reliable internet connection

Strong written and spoken proficiency in English (Mandatory)

1+ years relevant AP or similar experience; hospitality industry highly preferred

Work effectively both independently and as a member of the team

Ability to work within deadlines and operate effectively in a matrixed and dynamic organization while delivering results

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact at all levels of the organization

Good understanding of virtual meeting platforms (Hangouts, Slack, Zoom, Huddle)

Proficiency with Excel and Google apps for business

Flexibility and responsiveness to change

Ability to analyze, research and problem solve complex situations

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Bilingual English / Spanish required
