SALARY: 21 000 - 31 000 PLN gross/monthly

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Senior iOS Infrastructure Engineer is an exciting role at Brainly that allows you to contribute to our infrastructure and our product. Your primary team is our Mobile Infra team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining frameworks, automation, tooling, and infrastructure that help our product teams produce amazing mobile applications. When working with Mobile Infra, you will work on essential and well-defined projects that many engineering teams will use to help them build secure and scalable solutions. The Senior iOS Infrastructure Engineer will also work with our product teams to deliver new and exciting products to our users. These “deployments” will last up to six months but can be as short as a sprint or two. Lastly, you will help design and participate in hackathons, conferences, and our new technology blog. This role is ideal for engineers who love new challenges and working across departments and teams.

Are you able to brainstorm and co-create new solutions, both business and technical? Do you have a team player attitude? Do you have analytical and problem solver, accurate approach but also creative to come up with your own ideas and suggestions? Do you have an interest in TDD and experience using testing to fix and refactor problems in legacy applications (smoke testing, integration testing, UI testing, end to end testing)? Are you self-organized and able to make your own decisions? Do you have capability to help people and be proactive in finding solutions? WHAT YOU'LL DO

Improving the developer experience

Embedding and working directly with our product teams

Maintaining our Mobile Infra KPIs and Dashboards

Being a major contributor to our future frameworks and automation

Collaborating with other software engineers to create new tools and improve processes to deliver products and ensure high reliability and performance.

Conducting code reviews, contributing high-quality documentation, and building robust test suites for your features

WHAT MAKES YOU THE PERFECT CANDIDATE

4+ years of professional enterprise experience in iOS apps development

Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous deployment practices in iOS

Experience in Unit/UI testing

Experience with diagnosing technical problems, debugging complex problems across the whole stack, and automating routine tasks

Focus on the needs of our users, both internal and external

Knowledge of iOS platform (system libraries, lifecycle, good practices, tools)

Knowledge of requirements and tools for releasing applications in App Store

Fluency in Swift

Experience with Cocoapods, Swift Package Manager

Computer science fundamentals - data structures and design patterns

Familiarity with agile development and lean principles

Ability to evaluate technologies against technical and non-technical requirements

Fluency in English

Great communications skills and ability to learn fast

High level of self-organization and ability to make your own decisions

WHAT WILL BE NICE TO HAVE

Experience with Fastlane, Firebase

Capability to identify problems and propose solutions

Knowledge of Objective-C

Knowledge of Python

Knowledge of Bash scripting

Experience in configuring CI runners in AWS
