Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to join their team. As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing exceptional support to our sales team and customers. Your responsibilities will include processing orders accurately, providing product information, resolving inquiries or issues promptly, and collaborating closely with our sales team to support customer relationships and maintain efficient order processing.

Responsibilities:

Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring data entry accuracy.

Provide product information, pricing, and credit terms to customers in a professional manner.

Estimate delivery dates based on production and delivery schedules, and communicate any delays to customers.

Offer technical support to customers and collaborate with Applications Engineers when necessary.

Investigate and resolve customer problems related to deliveries, pricing, and product reliability, with authority to address minor complaints.

Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and outside sales representatives to build and maintain customer relationships, track account activities, and support sales initiatives.

Monitor established credit limits of customers and assess credit ratings of new and existing customers as needed.

Enter new customer data and update account information in the database accurately.

Requirements:

Associate's Degree in Business or a related field preferred.

Two or more years of experience in a sales support or customer service role.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and order processing software.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
