Team Description:

The Neurosurgical Robot Operator team at Neuralink is directly responsible for setting up the surgical robot during surgeries under the supervision of medical professionals. The team is in charge of communicating with experts to build efficiencies around the operation of the surgical robot during surgery. The operator team is responsible for training surgeons, clinicians and engineers to operate the robot for surgery and testing. The team is responsible for running tests for the engineering teams. The team is also involved in many cross-team collaborative projects.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Operate a surgical robot during surgeries and testing

Utilize GLP Documentation

Create SOPs and Work Instructions for operation and validation of the robot

Communicate effectively while troubleshooting alongside robot & surgical experts

Maintain inventory of parts, fixture/tooling, spare parts / consumables

Maintains 5S and clean workspace environment

Performs other projects or duties that may be assigned

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of troubleshooting/testing experience, or equivalent

Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills

Attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or equivalent industry experience

Previous experience in robotics operation, maintenance, or related fields is preferred.

Research or (pre)clinical experience

Strong understanding of engineering first principles

Pay Transparency:

Based on California law, the following details are for California individuals only:

California Hourly Rate Range:

$33.68—$43.30/hr USD

Guidance on salary for this role will be determined according to the level at which you enter the organization, with the ability to gain more over time as you contribute.
