DC Operation Manager (Samut Prakan)
Job Responsibilities
On duty and take responsibility when absence Operation director
Strong people management
Familiar with the shift operation management
Scheduling of Ops team to meet shift demands
Support Operation director to lead operations in GSA data center
Operation procedure; work with operation director to create the MoP, SoP, EoP for data center maintenance
Training: work with operation director to setup the training plan for operation team
Quality assurance of Technician work performed along with associated documentation
Energy management; to monitor the energy usage, oversee daily activities to monitor and analyze building performance, balance the energy consumption
Environment control in the data hall; work with NOC manager to maintain the environment parameter such as temperature, humidity, dew point and etc in data hall, solving any issues related with the environment in data hall
Setup the technician roster to operated in 24x7 mode and manipulate to revise or any adjustment when the resource shortage
Maintenance of supply and tool inventory used by the operations
Management and reporting of Technician hours worked utilization
Ensure compliance of policies and procedures by Technicians
Capacity management; work closely with NOC manager and Operation director and report the data hall capacity, DC capacity in monthly basis or immediately when it reach to the limitation
Mentoring and leadership on data center floor for technicians
Support of construction, research, and development activity
Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems that may be employed in a data center environment. This may include electrical feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, DC power systems, ATS/STS units, PDU units, air handling units, cooling towers, and fire suppression systems.
Must be familiar with safety requirements and OSHA regulations governing a multi-megawatt facility
Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical drawings
Job Qualifications
Experience interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics and electrical/mechanical drawings
Strong understanding of MEP system in the data center
Familiar with Microsoft Suite, BMS, EPMS, CPMS and CMMS
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to express ideas clearly, concisely and effectively with contractors installing, performing maintenance or upgrade work on systems installed in the data center environment
Ability to analyze and make suggestions for problem resolution
Solve problems with good initiative and sound judgment
Make decisions independently with minimal guidance
Creativity, problem solving skills, negotiation and systematic thinking
Fluent in English both written and verbal (Minimum 500 TOEIC score)
