We have a captivating opportunity for a skilled electrical engineer to contribute to medium-voltage infrastructure projects within our dynamic Irvine, CA offices. The ideal candidate will boast 5 to 10 years of expertise in:

Designing medium voltage (2.4kV – 35kV) infrastructure for commercial and industrial facilities, suitable for public bid, encompassing specification of switchgear, transformers, and associated medium voltage equipment.

Specifying and coordinating protective relaying and SCADA systems for medium voltage electrical systems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Power and Energy Systems.

Active PE License preferred.

Minimum of 5 years' experience.

Proficiency in electrical infrastructure design projects with minimal supervision.

Familiarity with AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM, and Revit.

Previous involvement in commercial/industrial infrastructure projects, including site visitation capabilities.

Duties

Pre-Design Engineering

Conduct field surveys for electrical systems design, gather data, and compile site assessment reports.

Prepare electrical schematic designs.

Project Management

Manage multiple large-scale projects alongside senior engineers and subconsultants.

Provide mentorship to design engineers.

Independently draft proposals for clients.

Actively foster business development with both new and existing clients.

Construction Administration

Review and respond to RFI’s.

Evaluate equipment submittals.

Conduct punch walks and prepare punch list reports.
