About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented Data Modeler to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a critical role in designing and building data models that support our data analysis and reporting needs. You will leverage your expertise in SQL to develop robust data sets that are easy to understand and consume.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop data models using Snowflake schemas or star schema methodologies.

Utilize SQL to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into consumable data sets.

Cleanse and prepare data for analysis and reporting.

Document data models and data sets for future reference.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into effective data models.

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience as a Data Modeler or similar role.

Proven experience building data sets for consumption by analysts and other data users.

Expert-level proficiency in SQL development and querying.

Strong understanding of Snowflake schemas or star schema design principles.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to data quality.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate of $60 - $80 per hour (depending on experience).
