Avionics Technician

Must haves:

- Garmin Installation Experience

- Private/Corporate Jet Experience (Part 91/135/145)

- Located in the correct company site or willing to relocate

- Must possess minimum tooling required to perform duties assigned

- Must be able to work various shifts, as assigned by management.

- Manlift qualified

What you will do:

-Perform installations, troubleshooting, and repairs of complex aircraft avionics systems and components across various airframes, ensuring timely, clean, safe, and professional work with superior quality and efficiency.

-Make sound technical decisions as a technician and Production Inspector, efficiently handling installations, troubleshooting, function testing, and repairs of intricate aircraft avionics systems.

-Prepare necessary documents for record-keeping in compliance with company policies, FAA regulations, OEM manuals, etc., and assist Junior Avionics Wiring Technicians in these tasks.

-Utilize Aviation work order system proficiently for accurate and timely completion of discrepancies and corrective action statements, supporting Junior Avionics Wiring Technicians as needed.

-Share knowledge and skills with less experienced technicians through on-the-job training, acting as a mentor and task expert to foster their development and ensure accurate work.

-Locate and utilize appropriate technical data consistently to accomplish tasks effectively.

-Support and comply with all Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations at the federal, OSHA, state, and local levels.

-Assume responsibility for work scope and project milestones in the absence of the Crew Chief, leading minor aircraft projects as directed.

-Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
