Must haves:
- Part 119 - Part 135 Operations Background in a smaller company looking to grow out a maintenance department
- 5+ years of exp as a DOM coming from a company that experience exponential growth
- Local candidate (Relo is on the table but is not preferred)
What you will do:
-Oversees all aircraft maintenance activities, including overhaul, modifications, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring compliance with 14 CFR Parts 43, 91, 119, and 135, as well as Company operations and maintenance standards.
-Conducts business matters related to aircraft maintenance with aircraft owners, vendors, clients, employees, and the FAA to support the company's operations.
-Manages the addition or removal of aircraft from the Air Carrier Certificate and maintains required records.
-Coordinates inspections on all aircraft and ensures compliance with airworthiness standards prescribed by regulations, airworthiness directives, manufacturer's procedures, and operating practices.
-Prioritizes aircraft maintenance based on flight schedules and parts availability, scheduling maintenance on a first-priority basis.
-Ensures subcontracted maintenance performed by third-party technicians adheres to the Company's General Maintenance Manual and applicable regulations.
-Acts as the primary liaison to the FAA and other regulatory bodies regarding maintenance matters.
-Maintains current aircraft maintenance records and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
-Supervises maintenance department personnel, ensuring activities are conducted safely, on time, and within allocated resources.
-Provides necessary personnel, facilities, equipment, and tools to achieve aircraft availability goals.
-Collaborates closely with the Director of Operations and the COO to provide updates on aircraft status, forecast downtime, mechanical issues, and maintenance scheduling.
-Represents maintenance on the Safety Committee and serves as a member of the Emergency Response Team.
-Maintains weight and balance records for all aircraft in the fleet.
