Ergonomics(Human Factor) Trainee

Location: Suzhou, Jiangsu, China.

Hours of Work: Full-time.

Job Description:

This is a 2-year program for Ergonomics(Human Factor) trainees. You will have a 2-year contract with the company.

You will work in the engineering group in Suzhou, and work with functional teams - Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering, Acoustic Engineering, Quality Insurance team, CMF design.

You can collaborate closely with creative and passionate teams across Suzhou Engineering Group in Logitech to teach and improve feature friendliness for all our users.

Key responsibilities:

Apply user-centered design principles to the research, design, and continuous improvement of our products.

Build a PUX testing protocol to analyze and guide product category design as a result

Exercise independent judgment in the development of study methodology, the design of user experience experiments, data collection and analysis, Human body virtual model, and design recommendations.

Develop user study criteria and detailed methodology for UX(user experience) testing for new product projects.

Partner with Engineers on prototyping user experiences.

Participate in research on multi-sensory interactions with products.

Mechanical Engineering members;

Engineering science team;

CMF(Color, Material, Finish) team

Product management team;

Reports to: Mechanical Engineering Manager.

Person Specification:

Strong interest in Ergonomic or Human Factors.

Confident, brave, and patient

Essential:

A bachelor’s degree level is a minimum requirement, and a Master’s degree is a plus;

Have solid professional knowledge in experimental psychology, cognitive psychology, ergonomics, and biology.

Have enough passion for improving the user experience of products.

Have a good experience of conducting usability studies and interview techniques related to product use.

Being familiar with Mechanical Engineering is a plus

Fluent in both English written and spoken.
