What we do:
In a team-oriented environment, the Quality Inspector will plan and perform all tasks in initial or final phase of manufacturing in a timely and efficient manner to ensure aircraft parts, sub-assemblies, major assemblies, and installations conform to the design.

What you can do:
Coordinate inspection workload according to priorities, efficiency, and cost effectiveness
Perform Inspection duties utilizing engineering drawings and orders, work instructions, technical specifications, QA procedures and instructions, and other related documents
Perform preliminary and progressive inspections of aircraft systems, verify functional operation, final inspections, inspect for FOD and verify paperwork. Witness, verify and document manufacturing process steps
Conduct quality reviews and establish traceability of supplier documentation such as certificates of conformance, material/special process certifications, and inspection/test reports
Work with supplier/internal quality assurance teams for issues related to suppliers found on the shopfloor
Initiate nonconforming material reports
Ensure the proper use and storage of area tools and measurement equipment
Monitor and report on quality Inspection performance
Promote awareness of quality requirements, goals, objectives, and best practices
Conduct work in a manner that enhances own/other employees health and safety, product safety and promotes risk reduction; participates openly in safety related event investigations and immediately report hazards and make suggestions for control of such
May require up to 10% of domestic and international travel

What you can contribute:
High School Diploma or associate degree preferred
A minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation manufacturing, or quality assurance
Comprehension of AS9100 or ISO 9001 standard
ASQ certification preferred
Experience with programming and operation of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), inspection of machine components, and performance of gage R&R studies is desirable
Electrical/Battery production Knowledge is a plus

Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of total compensation.
The pay range for this position is:
$105,429—$136,710 USD
