Job Title: Humanities Teacher in an International Secondary School

JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Teacher to join our international secondary school. As a Humanities Teacher in our school, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students from various cultural backgrounds. Our school uses the National Curriculum for England and Wales that promotes academic excellence.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

This is a dynamic role that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to adapt to diverse teaching styles to create a stimulating learning environment.

RELATIONSHIPS

This is a positive relationship between the teacher and the student in efforts to gain trust and respect from each other.

This relationship may consist of getting to know your students better, providing choice and encouraging the students to become stronger learners everyday.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Create and deliver engaging and interactive lessons plan that align with the school's curriculum guidelines

2.Provide individualized attention and support to students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment

3.Assess student progress and performance through a variety of methods, such as exams, projects, and presentations

4.Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.

5.Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic growth and personal development

6.Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to various learning styles

7.Assess student progress and provide regular feedback on their academic performance

8.Collaborate with colleagues to develop and evaluate educational materials and resources

9.Support students in their social and emotional well-being

10.Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and attendance

11.Communicate regularly and effectively with students' parents or guardians regarding their academic progress and development

12.Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events

13.Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and grades

REQUIREMENTS

1.Strong knowledge of the [specific subject] curriculum

2.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field

Valid International Teaching Certification
