You are passionate about discipling the next generation and have creative & dynamic teaching abilities. You have strong communication skills and connect well with students, volunteers, and parents. You have a deep theological understanding that guides your decision-making. Sharing best practices and working on a team brings you joy. You’re able to confidentially lead midweek and weekend programming.
What you'll do:
Oversee and provide opportunities for involvement in high school and middle school ministries: midweek groups, midweek programming, discipleship groups, missions, campus ministries, and special events
Provide spiritual guidance and support to high school and middle school students
Recruit, equip, and care for the volunteer team
Actively engage in and contribute to monthly worship sessions during All Staff
Partner with Central Students to create midweek and weekend experience
Participate in general pastoral duties as needed at the Forney campus for students (counseling, benevolence, baptisms, etc.)
Visit school campuses on a regular basis and attend student games, lunches, FCA meetings, and other activities that would provide opportunities to get to know and minister to students
Attend and help execute summer camp, fall retreat, and mission trips
Skills & Experience you’ve had:
Previous experience leading a large student ministry preferred
Leadership, teaching, counseling education/experience
Prior supervision of other student pastors preferred
