Biopolynet Inc. is a Canadian clean-tech company. Its mission is customizing its US patented Bio-based polymer for application in a wide range of small, mid, and large-scale industries. Biopolynet’s agricultural-based polymer has application in wastewater treatment, Bio-pelletization, biogas & biofertilizer production, manure management, etc., In Biopolynet, we are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the full-time position of Industrial Engineer/Project Manager to manage and improve Biopolynet’s projects for enhanced efficiency and productivity of equipment, materials and human resources.

Activities include:

• Study new machinery and facilities and recommend or select efficient combinations.

• Help team in designing and development of compatible machinery, structures, equipment, and systems related to fertilizer and biogas production processing and converting by-product to product.

• Develop flexible or integrated manufacturing systems and procedures.

• Conduct studies and implement programs to determine optimum inventory levels for production and to allow optimum utilization of machinery, materials and resources.

• Design, develop and conduct time studies and work simplification programs.

• Determine human resource and skill requirements and develop training programs.

• Conduct studies of the reliability and performance of plant facilities and production or administrative systems.

• Supervise technicians, technologists, analysts, administrative staff and other engineers.

• Leads, develops, and implements projects according to the expense, capital project plan and biopolynet’s business priorities.

• Keeps current with latest industry regulations and codes relative to processing equipment system design and operation.

Qualifications/ Education/Experience/Skills:

• A bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or in a related engineering discipline is required.

• Understanding of lean manufacturing concepts, project management and continuous improvement applications in engineering design is required.

• Excellent leadership qualities, verbal and written communication skills, technical analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills are required.
