You will join our Mid-Term Planning Team in Katowice HUB and you’ll work in the heart of Supply Chain, based on Sales forecast provided by Demand Planners you will create short and midterm production and capacity plans. Working closely with Production Schedulers and Material Planners you will ensure right level of finished goods and create a plan for distribution to our customers on dedicated EU markets.

About the position:

You will have a full ownership of short and midterm supply chain production requirement for a dedicated portfolio of products, leading service, inventory, waste, distribution, and take part in product life cycle management.

You will work closely with the Sourcing Units Planning teams to ensure production plans follow frequency and sequence that reduce waste and maximize service. At Upfield, reducing the impact of waste to the environment is at the heart of everyday operations.

You will be taught and expected to perform root-cause analysis to foster a continuous improvement culture for your own function contributing to World Class Manufacturing environment.

You will develop WHAT IF scenarios for your portfolio to highlight risks and opportunities alongside decision points, all through strong collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

On the operational side, you will maintain system master data settings ensuring full system potential.

You will become a part of multi functional teams working on exciting projects like automatizations, New Product Development, innovations and many more.

So, what does it take to be successful in this role?

You have experience in planning from FMCG, you are fast learner with can do mindset.

You have a proven track record with planning systems like IBP/ APO/Kinaxis/JDA or others. Advanced Excel is a must.

You will be working in an extended cross-functional network as well as with higher management, therefore you feel comfortable leading discussions driving conclusions, and giving recommendations.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills give you ease in setting priorities and make you an excellent executor constantly monitoring and following up on goals.

Last but not least - proficient level of English is a must.
