Office Assistance, Manufacturing and Quality

Ekstrom Carlson is looking for a new team member in this exciting career opportunity. We are looking for an Office Assistance position that will include roles in quality, manufacturing, and customer service to assist in all areas of the company. This will include being involved in all quality issues associated with our manufacturing, customer repairs, cutting tool manufacturing issues, customer services issues, etc

Products include spindle repair and new spindle manufacturing, cutting tool sharpening and manufacturing of new endmills, drills, router bits, and other cutting tools offered to the metalworking, woodworking, and plastics industry. We also manufacture a coolant mist spray system for cutting tools and sell saw motors and router motors.

Activities and qualifications may include some or all of the below:

Addressing any quality issues and making improvements as necessary. Maintaining our ISO 9001 compliance and audit schedule.

.Involvement in any production or plant improvements / additions - CNC machines, coolant systems, manufacturing processes, etc

Trouble shooting issues related to our repair services. Working with customers and vendors on the same.

Preparing quotations for spindle and live tool repairs

Involved in implementation of our new ERP system and tracking of projects through our process

Involved in any invoicing, paperwork, etc as required

SolidWorks background knowledge helpful

Excellent communication skills required along with a professional and courteous demeanor

Exceptional writing skills required - mostly emails

Associates degree or higher preferred in a quality, industiral, mechanical or equal engineering field

Honesty, integrity, and professionalism is required.

Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, QuickBooks, WinMan ERP software, Solidworks preferred

Experience required - 0 years to experienced. This is a position for learning and potential growth in all facets of operating our business.
