Geneva Trading is seeking a talented Quantitative Analyst to join our dynamic team at our Dublin office. As a Quant Analyst, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge quantitative models, conducting research, and implementing trading strategies across various financial markets. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of professionals and leverage your quantitative skills to drive innovation in discretionary trading.

Responsibilities

Strategy Design: Use advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques to extract insights from data and create trading strategies.

Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify patterns, correlations, and trends in financial markets.

Software Development: Write clean, efficient code in programming languages such as Python or R. Develop and maintain software infrastructure for data processing, modelling, and trade analysis.

Risk Management: Assess and quantify various types of financial risks. Develop risk models to measure and monitor the risk exposure of trading strategies. Implement risk mitigation strategies to protect against adverse market conditions.

Collaboration: Work closely with experienced traders to understand their trading needs and to provide quantitative solutions. Collaborate with other quant analysts and software developers to implement and maintain quantitative models and trading systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Engineering, Computer Science or Statistics related field

Advanced skill set in R or Python required

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, both independently and as part of a team.
