Controls Technician

Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for Controls Technicians in Shelby Township, MI. As a Controls Technician for Cardinal Staffing Services, you will work in an automotive environment and be involved in all aspects of manufacturing production operations including:

Pay is based off of experience: $27 - $30Available shifts include 2nd shift (4:00pm start), 5 â 6 days a week, hours are based on production for shift end time.

Writing and improving control programs to support operations

Analyze and improve performance of existing systems

Install/Maintain and Inspect control systems

Ensure calibration of all machines and maintenance

Run diagnostics of machines

Read, Modify, and Troubleshoot PLC programs (Allen-Bradley and Siemens preferred) using a laptop

Ensure the accuracy of error proofing devices and sensors

Create, verify, and maintain electrical control schematics and program documentation

Create and Maintain backup programs for all programs and software

Assisting in creation or and performing preventative and predictive maintenance activitiesKeys For Success in this Role:

Minimum of 5 years experience in an automotive manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of PLC (Allen-Bradley and Siemens preferred)

Knowledge of robotics (ABB and Fanuc)

Able to design and interpret electrical schematics

Knowledge of AC and DC motors and variable speed controllers

Knowledge of pneumatic components and pick and place devices

Knowledge of Electrical 110/120/220/480.Required Certifications:

Must be willing and able to obtain Hilo, Crane, and/or Aerial lift certification
