Within the Media.Monks E-Commerce Practice, our services are far-reaching and include: SEO, Content, and Brand Store Optimisation, Managed Amazon Advertising (PPC, DSP, etc.), Vendor/Seller Central Account Management, Business Planning and Consulting and Content Production.

The E-Commerce Delivery Lead will focus on the Managed Amazon Advertising aspect, working to deliver best in class services to our clients.

What are we Looking for:

We are looking for an E-Commerce leader to help build our growing E-Commerce practice and deepen our partnerships with Amazon. If you’re passionate about building out our E-Commerce practice in the EMEA region, driving advanced client engagement, identifying new opportunities with clients, and supporting sales and revenue growth then this is an amazing opportunity.

This person needs to be a strategic thinker who demonstrates a high degree of ownership, leadership and a strong work ethic, with a proven track record of success. This role will work closely with the senior EMEA team to help design, grow, and manage a our expanding E-commerce offering. The primary responsibilities include attracting and retaining existing clients, servicing as a strategic SME on Amazon and other E-commerce platforms, ensuring the service delivery team is managing client engagements with a high degree of excellence. You'll be involved and working across the organisation including with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and drive current client engagements.

Help drive the development and growth of Future E-Commerce business

Support with the optimisation of our existing systems and processes to ensure we are maximising every opportunity to monetise our Amazon offering

Support in building out our Amazon account teams deploying resources where needed to make sure we are best positioned to maximise revenue opportunities

Driving category-level performance across all our digital brands and geographical markets

Reviewing and analysing our current Amazon strategy determining tangible actions to drive performance

Looking at the entire customer journey and identifying client opportunities

Leading by example and sharing your knowledge and E-Commerce experience with the wider team

Monitoring industry trends and ensuring that we are well-positioned to capitalise and take action

Supporting the team in understanding the motivations of E-Commerce players when it comes to their relationships with content & media partners

Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure our service is fully optimised for our E-Commerce offering. Working closely with existing and emerging brands to embed an E-Commerce mentality

Ideate to seek new and creative ways to monetise our E-Commerce strategy

Benchmark our E-Commerce proposition and work closely with the Digital, Data & Measurement teams to ensure our E-Commerce proposition is cutting-edge

Your Impact

Work with the local teams across all EMEA markets to support the introduction and development of E-Commerce capabilities and services. This includes providing strategic direction, sharing of knowledge, tools and best practice across the group.

E-Commerce acceleration planning – working with the local market teams and agency regional/ global teams to evaluate the current and desired capability and creating plans to capitalise on the growth opportunities.

Collaborate closely with EMEA Amazon team and work together with other stakeholders to build a strong partnership. to ensure Amazon service products meet regional requirements and are distributed and taken up by local markets

Navigate, evaluate, and catalogue the opportunities available by partners/providers

Develop, coordinate, and execute educational sessions and training on E-Commerce platforms and opportunities

Research and maintain up-to-date knowledge on commerce opportunities, participate in virtual and in-person commerce/retail/shopper conferences

Develop creative ideas and commerce solutions that drive measurable business growth for our clients and for the agency

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 5+ years of experience in or across paid media, retail, consulting, and or analytics with a recent specialism in E-Commerce, particularly in marketplaces and e-retail with a focus on Amazon.

A deep understanding of sales and marketing operations to identify how Media.Monks can deliver operational excellence and delight our clients

A strong understanding of Amazon Advertising media platforms

Effective and engaging written communication and presentation skills

Comprehensive digital expertise across brand and performance metrics

Confidence to make decisions and resolve problems quickly and effectively

Passion for digital and data, well versed on the latest industry trends and news

Experience managing a team with multiple layers of management
