Responsibilities/ Tasks

Organize and co-ordinate production;

Determine treatment, scope and scheduling of production;

Plan, organize and direct the artistic aspects of production;

Co-ordinate and direct the photography of production;

Determine lighting, lenses, camera angles and backgrounds;

Edit motion picture film and arrange film segments into sequences;

Program special effects software for film and video applications;

Prepare presentation graphics and drawings;

Determine picture composition, make technical adjustments to equipment and photograph subject;

Operate various computer-controlled studio systems to perform colour separation, retouching and editing that allow changes to be made to a colour negative for printing purposes;

Determine filming sequences, camera movements and picture composition

Design and co-ordinate special effects such as fire, explosion and crashes;
