We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator Assistants to join our team and to support our educators to create a unique curriculum tailored to the children in the program.

Business/Work Location: 31934 Peardonville Rd, Abbotsford, BC, V2T 1L8 Position: Early Childhood Educator Assistant Start Date: As soon as possible Number of positions: 2 Terms of employment: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: $28.85 per hour Job Responsibilities Assist early childhood educators in different programs that promote physical, mental, cognitive, and social development of children.

Attend to childrens physical needs for eating and sleeping, dressing, diapering, and toileting.

Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts.

Observe childrens behavior and assist early childhood educators in maintaining records.

Organize space, equipment, and materials prior to lunch, rest periods and other activities.

Assist in housekeeping and cooking duties as well as maintain daycare equipment as needed.

Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings.

Qualifications Required Completion of secondary school.

Minimum one years experience in childcare.

Relevant childhood education or certificate in early childhood education assistant will be an asset.
