Speech Language Pathologist

Job title: Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Status: Part-time, Contract

Responsibilities:

- Develop therapy and treatment plans for speech disorders

- Implement standardized tests for accurate diagnosis of communication disorders

- Establish treatment goals and milestones with patients

- Document and store treatment plans and progress reports

- Update patient progress to relevant parties

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1 year experience in a pediatric setting

- Current and Valid Virginia SLP License

- Familiarity with communication disorders

- Ability to build rapport with patients

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Positive and patient demeanor

- DIR Floortime certificates and experiences

- Feeding therapy training and experiences

- Myofunctional therapy training and experiences

- Natural Language Acquisition training and experiences

- Bilingual
