Senior Mechanical Engineer

Our client in the Cincinnati Metro area is seeking qualified candidates for their Senior Mechanical Engineer direct hire role.

Qualifications:

Requires at minimum 10 years of leadership experience with 3+ years in a hands on leadership role

Details:

• Experience with NX CAD/CAM (Unigraphics)

• Able to create and modify CNC part programs

• Experience with design and development of part-holding tooling

• Able to monitor the first piece through the NPI process

• Develop, evaluate, and improve current manufacturing methodologies

• Lead tool crib inventories

• Lead cutting tool assembly and fixture documentation

• Develop machining processes to improve cycle time and component quality

• Solve CAM programs and G code through the use of Vericut

• Must be able to collaborate with other employees and teams

• Develop and implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate problems and improve product quality

• Provide vital documentation of manufacturing processes involved in production with setup sheets, process documentation, and other shop floor control documentation

• Handle the manufacturing change processes
