The eTransit Reporting system is a greenfield web application being built for PennDOTs Bureau of Public Transit to replace and enhance a legacy system using the latest .NET and Angular technologies for deployment to the Azure cloud.
Job Description:
The eTransit Reporting system is a greenfield web application being built for PennDOTs Bureau of Public Transit to replace and enhance a legacy system using the latest .NET and Angular technologies for deployment to the Azure cloud. The application will allow easier communication between PennDOT, the Federal Department of Transit, and public transit agencies within Pennsylvania while enhancing lines of business and looking forward to future changes and systems enhancements. Prospective initial deployment of the application is March 2025.
Candidates will work under the direction of the projects Technical Lead and Application Architect to write, test, and document code to implement system features and enhancements.
Skills
HTML, CSS, JavaScript Prefer: prior experience with jQuery and Bootstrap 8+ Years
Angular with recent experience with Angular 14 or greater 8+ Years
Testing frameworks Prefer: Jasmine and Karma Including: xUnit NUnit 8+ Years
.NET Core and C# with recent experience with .NET Core 5 or greater. 8+ Years
ASP.NET Prefer: Familiarity with frameworks like MVC or ASP.NET Core for building web applications Prefer: Experience with RESTful APIs 8+ Years
SQL Server T-SQL 8+ Years
ORM, such as Entity Framework and Dapper 8+ Years
Tools:Visual Studio with recent experience in VS2022 and VS Code Azure DevOps Git 8+ Years
Required: Knowledge and Experience
Knowledge of Responsive and mobile-first design
Knowledge of Design Patterns and Solid principles
Knowledge of digital accessibility and disability inclusion
Knowledge of regulations related to digital accessibility (e.g. Section 508, ADA)
Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA requirements
Experience designing for platform technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, iOS, Android)
Experience applying WAI-ARIA authoring guidelines and best practices.
Experience optimizing for the accessibility features of the platform (HTML, iOS, Android)
Experience developing digital products that comply with accessibility standards.
Experience incorporating accessibility tests into the development process.
Experience building digital products where compliance with accessibility standards is part of “definition of done”
