Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English Language Teacher to join our school community. As an English Language Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction to students, fostering their language acquisition, literacy skills, and cultural awareness. We are specifically looking for a female teacher to serve as a role model and mentor for our diverse student population.

Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Proven experience in teaching English language and literature at the elementary, middle, or high school level.

Native or near-native proficiency in English.

Strong understanding of language acquisition theories, literacy development, and instructional strategies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.

Cultural competence and sensitivity to the needs of diverse learners.

Experience in integrating technology into English language instruction.

Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and community stakeholders.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.

Responsibilities:

1.Develop and implement comprehensive English language curriculum aligned with state standards and educational objectives.

2.Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.

3.Select and adapt instructional materials, resources, and assessments to meet the needs and interests of diverse learners.

4.Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued, respected, and encouraged to participate.

5.Provide constructive feedback and assessment to students to track their progress and guide their language development.

6.Foster a love of literature and critical thinking skills through the exploration of various genres, authors, and texts.

7.Incorporate cultural and global perspectives into English language instruction to promote intercultural understanding and communication.

8.Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum, share best practices, and support students' holistic development.

9.Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on students' academic progress and offer strategies for support at home.
