Registered Nurse - Infusion Room for a private oncology practice.

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our private practice located in Alexandria, VA. This part-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of $45 to $50 an hour and welcomes new grads. Join our team and work alongside a wonderful doctor and staff in a supportive environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Alexandria, VA

• Employment Type: full-time or Part-Time

• Practice Type: Private oncology Practice

• Position: Registered Nurse - Infusion Room

• Schedule: full-time Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm and part-time 3 Days per Week (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday)

Responsibilities:

• Administer infusion therapies and medications under the direction of the attending physician.

• Monitor patients during the infusion process, ensuring their safety and comfort.

• Assess and document patients' vital signs, reactions, and progress throughout the infusion.

• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient records and treatments.

• Collaborate with the doctor and staff to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care.

• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding infusion therapy and self-care.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Virginia.

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge in infusion therapy.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
