As a Area Supervisor in the Professional channel, you will support the ongoing growth of the business to increase our clients base!

Office location: Athens – Greece

Fieldwork - Area of responsibility: Athens and central Greece.

About the position!

We are currently looking for an Area Supervisor Central Greece to join our Professional (HoReCa + Distributors) Sales team, who will report to the Sales Manager.

As an Area Supervisor at Upfield Professional you will have an exciting opportunity to develop your own customer plans, build strong relationships with customers.

You will be accountable for developing and delivering a win-win customer strategy and customer business plan by integrating and in lining the best execution of Upfield’s professional sales with business objectives.

You will aim to grow the business of the customer through our products in order to achieve our growth & profit business targets, and to grow our business ahead of the market.

You will develop and maintain strong and trustworthy relationships with clients, plan sales activities and continuously follow up, evaluate and optimize the business with the customers.

You will analyze market trends, customer needs and competitors’ activities to develop effective sales plans and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product availability.

So what does it take to be successful in this role?

You have bachelor degree or equivalent by experience, a degree in economics is an asset.

Experience in Commercial foodservice/HoReCa segments is preferred. A proven track record of 3 years as area manager, distributor management or category management will be valued.

An ambitious, customer focused attitude combined with strong negotiating skills and good understanding of business financials (P&L, value chain) and analytical skills.

Outstanding negotiation and consultative sales skills are necessary. In addition, you need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as great communication and presentation skills.

You are able to work both independently and as a team member.

You will also need good knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

Fluent in English is necessary.
