Senior Embedded Software Test Engineer (Automotive)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Software Test Engineer with Automotive experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of embedded software systems used in automotive applications. This role requires hands-on experience with embedded systems, C++, and a strong understanding of automotive technologies such as Connected Car, Vehicle-to-Vehicle Communication, and Vehicle-to-Cloud Integration. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test plans and test cases for embedded software systems.

Perform system-level testing, integration testing, and regression testing.

Collaborate with software developers and other cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects.

Setup and maintain test benches for software testing.

Conduct security testing and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and industry trends.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of experience in embedded software testing with a focus on automotive applications.

Proficiency in C++ programming language.

Hands-on experience with Connected Car technologies, App-to-Car Connectivity, and Vehicle-to-Vehicle Communication.

Familiarity with Vehicle-to-Cloud Integration and Remote Parking via Smartphone App.

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.
