English Teachers

We have vacancies for native English teachers starting in August 2024. We are one of the largest international schools based in Tripoli, Libya and have teachers from across the globe working with us to deliver high quality education to students between the ages of 4 – 18.

As an examination and training centre, education and development are at the core of our values. We therefore welcome newly qualified CELTA/TEFL/TESOL teachers interested in applying for a teaching position with us.

The role

The role involves working to a teaching schedule from 8am to 2.30pm from Sunday to Thursday. You will teach between 5 – 6 classes per day. You are not expected to work on Fridays or Saturdays, however, 3 Saturdays per academic year you will need to attend mandatory training. In order for our school to maintain being at the forefront of international education in Libya, it is essential that teachers constantly share teaching practise and self-reflection. You will be required to regularly assess students work and provide feedback to management and parents alike.

Teacher criteria:

• CELTA / TEFL/ TESOL qualified. Essential

• Fluent in both written and spoken English. Essential

• 2 years teaching. An advantage but not essential

• Experience in working with children and teenagers. Essential

• Ability to organise your own workload. Essential

• Create and deliver inspiring and engaging lessons. Essential
