experienced hands-on senior SharePoint and Power Platform developer.

The Senior Microsoft Power Platform Developer will be responsible for developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform components, like Power Apps including both canvas apps & model-driven apps, Power Automate, among others by following the best practices and methodologies.

The successful candidate should have strong communication skills to be effective in both technical and business requirement discussions.

Primary responsibilities include:

Configure Dataverse

Create and configure Power Apps\Power Automation (both Canvas and Model-driven Apps)

Configure business process automation

Lead functionality discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions

Programming experience using .NET, SQL, Azure, and C#

Understand the business and its challenges, functionally map a solution to the identified use cases and then develop an APP using Power Platform

Experience with API or rest services integrations with an understanding of how to implement solutions with multiple data sources

Certifications in PowerApps Professional or PowerApps Developer

Participate in code reviews

Enforce standards and best practices

Troubleshoot Power Platform issues; document solutions, and work with system administrators and other IT resources to implement fixes.

Create design solutions and document for common use case scenarios

Preferred Experience with Devops in Power Platform (Power Pipelines/ALM Accelerator)

Develop and disseminate documentation (requirements, recommendations, technical analysis, etc.) on platform usage.

Prepare mockups/prototypes based on requirements and use knowledge of Power Platform features/tools to offer solutions that meet business needs.

Adhere to best practices when implementing business solutions and define/refine a governance approach for the platform’s use at VDOT.

Participate in Agile SDLC

Required Skills:

8 years experience

Experience in SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 services

Experience in designing, implementing and migrating solutions utilizing Power Platform, including all : Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate (Flow),

Experience using PowerShell scripting

Custom Development experience using .Net, JavaScript and C#

Experience using standard & premium connectors with PowerApps and Power Automate

Experience with MS Access and VBA to understand and redesign Power Apps

Developing Azure logic apps and functions providing support for Power Automate

Devops in Power Platform
