The Manufacturing Production Planning & Control Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing production processes to ensure efficient resource utilization, adherence to production schedules, and compliance with quality standards. This role involves planning and controlling production schedules, coordinating with material requirements, estimating and scheduling human resources, tools, and equipment needed for production, and continually improving production processes, systems, and technology.

Responsibilities:

Manage a team of experienced professionals, providing leadership and guidance in the area of Manufacturing Production Planning & Control.

Implement policies and strategies to achieve short-term results, influencing others within and outside the immediate job area.

Exercise independent discretion in decision-making, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives of specialization.

Research, evaluate, and recommend changes to production processes, systems, technology, or equipment to enhance the organization's production capabilities.

Communicate effectively with executive leadership, providing updates on production status, challenges, and opportunities.

Build and maintain strong relationships through effective communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure the controlled flow of approved materials to meet production demands.

Estimate and schedule human resources, tools, and equipment needed for the production process.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency and resolve any production-related issues.

Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

6 years or more of relevant experience, including 3-5 years in management or direct/indirect leadership roles.

OR

Master's degree in a relevant field.

4 years or more of relevant experience, including 2-4 years in management or direct/indirect leadership roles.
