About the Role

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will work directly with stakeholders and other engineers to research, design and build new tools and features. A successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, leadership and mentorship experience, and the ability (along with an inherent desire) to write clean, extensible, bug-free, and bug-resistant code.

Most of our backend is written in Java using Spring Boot, Microservices and AWS, so a passion for these technologies is a must. We absolutely love working with Java and are constantly trying to improve our craft. If this resonates with you, then please come join us - you'll fit right in!

Responsibilities

Architect and implement new features, write tests, review code and fix bugs

Participate in standups, workshops, sprint grooming and feature demos

Work with product and project teams to help plan our ambitious roadmap

Research, study, strive to improve your skillset

We care about code quality - "don't just get it done, get it done right"

Qualifications and Requirements

4+ years of backend experience

Experience with Java (Spring Boot)

Experience with Microservices

Experience with Hibernate

Experience with AWS

Experience with SQL

Experience with unit and integration testing

Authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $140K - 180K (Depending on experience and level assessed post interviews)
