Location: Columbus, Ohio – Only Local Candidate

Job Description

• This role requires the individual to have the aptitude to learn and to assist in Control Design including process gap analysis that would also extend to end to end (E2E) Process Map analysis.

• To be successful the candidate must be driven and well-organized, with strong attention to detail. It is essential for the individual to be self-motivated and tenacious, thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, and complete tasks on agreed schedules. The team will look to this individual to assist in the evaluation for new and existing controls and Process Maps.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participate in the documentation and evaluation of Controls and Process Maps

• Participate in the associated discussions of Controls and Process Maps

• Participate in the creation and documentation of the internal team Process for Control Test of Design and Process Map reviews for certification and re-certification.

• Assist in maintaining, scheduling, and working through the ToD and Process Map backlog.

• Ensures timely completion of Control Design evaluations in accordance with guidelines.

• Ensures timely completion of Process Map evaluations in accordance with guidelines.

• May assist in the development and execution of enterprise risk management programs.

• Develop business and technology team knowledge to better understand processes, metrics, and required controls.

• Documents and maintains processes as needed.

• Gathers data and provides reports and metrics in accordance with guidelines and service level agreements (SLAs)

• Able to effectively communicate control requirements.

• Partners with Technology Segment Risk Managers to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders with business partners and IT technology teams.

• Contributes to teams continuous improvement culture by applying critical thinking skills and experiences to make suggestions.

• Works under significant supervision of a Segment Risk Sr. (Manager)

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Must Have

• 1 – 3 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent transferable experience through coursework, internships or work experience.

• Ability to build strong partnerships and to work collaboratively with all business and IT areas.

• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communications; ability to communicate and present requirements and issues clearly and concisely.

• Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong business and technology aptitude with a willingness to learn and understand business and software solutions a plus.

• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Nice To Have

• Experience using Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ADO, etc.)

• Familiarity with process control evaluation (SOX and general IT General Controls)

• Technical Writing
