Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with decision makers and key field personnel for assigned National Accounts.

Conduct strategic account reviews on a regular basis to review service needs and usage trends.

Identify growth opportunities for each National Account and incorporate into an annual mutual business plan.

Analyze purchase history and develop forecasts to ensure sufficient inventory especially for seasonal products.

Review National Account on-hand inventory to ensure that Western products are moving productively through

distributor warehouses.

Manage and expand private label product opportunities with National Accounts.

§ Conduct product and sales training for assigned accounts including inside/outside selling teams.

Requirements

§ A Bachelor Degree required in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field; An MBA is preferred.

§ 10+ years of industrial sales experience

§ 5+ years of National Account Manager experience.

§ The successful candidate should come from some type of Industrial Manufacturing / Distribution environment.

§ Account penetration through lead salespeople.

§ Identify and capture growth opportunities with large national customers.

§ Channel sales through wholesalers, large national distributors and retailers.

§ Executive-level concentrated selling to key decision makers.

§ Communicate effectively across multiple levels of decision makers.
