IT Field Technician

The IT Field Technician is the hands-on customer liaison for Client First Support. The IT Field Technician will be a member of the Project Support Team for the small to mid-market clients. Primary responsibilities include visiting client sites to provide onsite support and troubleshooting Windows, VMware, network systems, infrastructure upgrades, and implementations. Perform network cable infrastructure installs and upgrades following industry standards and project/job installation directions. The IT Field Technician will develop relationships with clients and have detailed knowledge of products and services offered to ensure they meet their needs.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Configure Desktop/Client Software

• Maintain updated documentation for locations

• Install and configure printer and peripherals

• Troubleshoot physical hardware issues. Support Azure, VMware, and Windows Server environments remotely & onsite.

• Assist clients in configuration/support of their move to Microsoft Teams/Remote work

• Office 365 and Microsoft Azure

• Terminate, test, and install network cabling based on TIA standards

• Employees must have mobility throughout the office and may occasionally drive or ride up to 50 miles to other service locations.
