Who are the best candidates to become a gig babysitter?

The ideal babysitting prospect will have worked with a family unrelated to you for at least two years. Daycare assistant teachers, infant specialists, and toddler teachers are superb candidates. In addition, former nannies and childcare professionals are encouraged to apply for this temporary job.

Most babysitter jobs are close to Minneapolis, so please be local and have an excellent automobile.

Babysitting Preferences

Please be legally authorized to work in the United States or equivalent.

Childcare applicants may have a high school degree, GED, or equivalent.

Candidates with at least two years of paid experience working professionally with children are needed.

You may have previous Early Childhood Education (ECE) experience and/or college credits in Early Childhood Education or a related elementary school field (preferred).

You may have worked in a daycare as a teacher’s assistant, as a childcare teacher, or as another early childhood educator.

The nanny will need a reliable car and a spotless driving record.

Please be CPR/First Aid certified.
